# Building Dashboards

**Dashboards combine Charts, Pivot Tables, and other results into one clean, shareable view, so your team sees the full picture in one place.**

## Create a Dashboard

1. **Click** **Dashboard** in the toolbar, or press `Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + D`.
2. **Name** the Dashboard so it's easy to find later.
3. **Select** components to include: Visualizations, Pivot Tables, and aggregation results.
4. **Click** **Add**.

## What a Dashboard gives you

- **One shareable view**: instead of passing around separate tabs, you share a single Dashboard.
- **Automatic updates**: when the underlying Sheets or Pivot Tables change, the Dashboard refreshes with them.
- **Flexible layout**: mix Charts, tables, and summaries to tell a complete story.

## Notes

- Dashboards update automatically when underlying data changes, so you do not have to rebuild them each time.
- Build your Charts and Pivot Tables first, then assemble the Dashboard.
