# Global Search

**Global Search is a command palette that jumps you to any feature, Sheet, Dashboard, or recent item in one keystroke, so you do not have to hunt through menus.**

## Open Global Search

- **Mac**: `Cmd + K`
- **Windows / Linux**: `Ctrl + K`

## What you can do

- **Jump** to any Sheet, Dashboard, or Visualization.
- **Run commands** for common actions: Filter, Pivot Table, Join, Visualization, Dashboard.
- **Open recent items** without navigating back through the Project tree.
- **Trigger OrcAI** directly: type `/orcai` followed by your instruction and press **Enter**.

## Tip

If you are not sure where a feature lives in the UI, open Global Search first. It is almost always faster than clicking through menus.
