# Project Management

**Projects are the containers that hold your Sheets, analyses, Visualizations, and Dashboards. If you ever wonder "where does this live?", the answer is almost always "inside the current Project".**

## What you will use Projects for

- **Keeping related datasets and results together**, so a single investigation stays in one place.
- **Returning later and picking up where you left off**, without re-importing files.
- **Organising Dashboards and Visualizations alongside the raw data**, so reviewers can trace results back to the source.

## Create a new Project

1. **Click** **Import Data** or **New Project** from the Project selection screen.
2. **Name** the Project something you will recognise later.
3. **Select** one or more data files.
4. **Review** the preview, then click **Continue**.

## Open an existing Project

1. **Use** the search bar on the Project selection screen.
2. **Click** the Project name to open it.

## Navigate inside a Project

- **Project Tree**: browse Sheets, Dashboards, and Visualizations.
- **Project Home**: return to the Project selection screen at any time.
