# Viewing & Navigating Data

**Sheets open in a spreadsheet-like grid. This page covers the basics so you can move around confidently before you start filtering, pivoting, or charting.**

## What you will learn

- How to open Sheets from the Project Tree.
- How tabs work (each result opens as its own tab).
- A couple of "good to know" performance behaviours.

## Basics

1. **Click** a Sheet in the Project Tree to open it.
2. **Scroll** to view more rows and columns.
3. **Resize** columns by dragging their borders.
4. **Sort** by clicking a column header.

## Tabs and results

Pivot Tables, AI Chat results, and other analyses each open as their own tab. You can keep the source Sheet and its derived tabs side by side and jump between them without losing context.

## Notes

- For performance, the grid may display up to ~1,000 rows at a time.
- Calculations, exports, and downstream Pivot Tables / Charts always use the **full** dataset, not just the rows currently on screen.
